Following a career in retail and investment banking in Europe and North America, Alan joined Performance Consultants in 2007. He has provided one-to-one executive coaching at senior levels across Europe and has extensive experience of helping middle managers move into leadership roles.

A tutor on the MSc in Coaching & Organisational Development - run by Performance Consultants and accredited by the University of Portsmouth - Alan also serves on the standards committee for the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and is an expert commentator on the need for consistency and quality of practice in the coaching industry.

A Master Coaching Practitioner, Alan holds a degree in Financial Services from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and an MSc in Coaching & Organisational Development from the University of Portsmouth.
