Sue Slocombe OBE Sue enjoyed a successful career in International sport, playing hockey for England Outdoor and Indoor, Captaining the Indoor squad and then coaching both England and Great Britain. Her coaching achievements include leading teams to European Gold and Olympic ranking of 4th. Sue was one of the few female coaches in British team sport who has worked at world level receiving UK Coach of the Year award in 1991 and the OBE in 1994. In parallel with her hockey career, Sue worked as a Principal Lecturer in Education before joining Performance Consultants in 1997. As an experienced practitioner, Sue applies her knowledge and understanding of learning and development in working with individuals, groups and teams in leadership, coaching, and emotional intelligence. Sue has a reputation for challenging traditionally accepted processes enabling people to achieve the highest performance possible. Sue is the founder of our MSc in Coaching and Development, having led a team of experienced Coaches to design and deliver the programmes. Sue is licensed to administer the BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory. |
